St. Pete Athletic Paddle & Social has earned the top spot in CourtSource’s 2026 ranking of the 100 best pickleball clubs in the United States.

CourtSource is a national pickleball and padel discovery and market-data platform that tracks more than 18,300 venues and 76,500 courts across the United States. Its directory helps players find places to play while providing facility data and market insights to club operators and other industry organizations.

The St. Petersburg, Florida, club finished ahead of Greystone Pickleball Club in Michigan and The Fort in Fort Lauderdale. Florida claimed five of the Top 10 positions and 11 spots across the complete list.

Why St. Pete Athletic Ranked No. 1

Located in St. Petersburg’s Warehouse Arts District, St. Pete Athletic includes 14 indoor pickleball courts, two padel courts, professional playing surfaces, dining and bar service, fitness and recovery amenities, coworking areas, and year-round programming.

The approximately 50,000-square-foot club was designed to give players a reason to stick around after their games, which played a major role in its first-place finish.

“From the beginning, we built St. Pete Athletic with community at the center of every decision we made,” co-owner Reuben Pressman said. “Our goal was to create a club where people would want to stay long after they finished playing.”

  7. Match Point Pickleball Club – Columbus, Ohio
  8. Ballers Philadelphia – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  9. Bosse Pickledom – Natick, Massachusetts
  10. USOP National Pickleball Center – Naples, Florida

The Top 100 includes clubs across 33 states. Texas placed 10 clubs on the list, finishing just behind Florida’s 11.

How the Clubs Were Ranked

CourtSource used verified information from its national directory to identify eligible venues. Clubs had to be open and operating with a confirmed court count, an indoor or outdoor designation, and additional information such as hours, pricing, or playing surface.

Each qualifying venue received a CourtScore based on four areas:

  • Facility size
  • Playability, including indoor or outdoor courts and lighting
  • Court access
  • Verified amenities

The data determined the candidate pool, but the final ranking was editorial rather than purely numerical. CourtSource also reviewed coaching, leagues, locker rooms, dining, fitness and recovery options, social areas, and the overall environment.

General fitness facilities, country clubs where pickleball is secondary, portable-net setups, and unopened venues were excluded. CourtSource said sponsorships, advertising relationships, and paid subscriptions played no role in consideration or placement.

“Great clubs remove friction from play and add reasons to stay,” said Andrew Wyatt, director of court intelligence at CourtSource. “The leaders in this ranking combine excellent courts with smart programming, great environments, hospitality, and a genuine sense of community.”
